Overview of Chanel 10 The Bachelor 2015

“Share everything with, make her as happy as she makes me.”

~ Sam Wood

Introducing The 2015 Bachelor

He is a honey and its seems that its game on before we’ve even seen more than a trailer!!

Tasmanian Sam Wood is the complete package. Physically striking, charismatic and successful, Sam, 34, runs his own Melbourne-based children’s health and fitness company, which has 35 locations across the country.

Starting his career as a fitness trainer, Sam began working with junior athletes while he completed his Bachelor of Applied Science. Passionate about the positive effects of an active lifestyle on children, Sam was inspired to found his company Gecko Sports. Eight years on, Gecko Sports now reaches thousands of children each week via after-school programs, parties and excursions.

With business flourishing, a close-knit family and supportive friends behind him, Sam feels the only element missing in his life is the perfect woman.

“Being the Bachelor is a real privilege and a once in a lifetime opportunity. I plan on embracing the experience with an open mind, while wearing my heart on my sleeve,” he said.

“I hope to find a woman with whom I share a sense of fun, an undeniable chemistry and a mutual respect. Ultimately I’m searching for the love of my life. I’m going to throw myself into the adventure and I’m prepared to have the absolute time of my life.”

Sizzling chemistry, jealousy, heartbreak and the unmistakeable early signs of love – and that is just in the first episode. The Bachelor Australia is back and it is bigger than ever.

Nineteen bachelorettes are ready to put their hearts on the line to snare the perfect man: 34-year-old Sam Wood. Through a series of extravagant and romantic dates, the Bachelor must woo his Bachelorettes in a bid to give on the ultimate fairytale.

In turn, each Bachelorette must vie for the Bachelor's affection. Friendships will be strained and rivalries will emerge as the girls compete for a coveted red rose.

I haven’t watched anything other than a few trailers – which are impossible to get away from even though I’ve tried.

My mission for the blog is to highlight the pitfalls of this Billion $ industry of dating and romance. Ill try not to get personal about the bachelorettes the blog is actually about Sam and the issue I have with setting ridiculous expectations about how dating should look and the pressure we put on ourselves to find love. I’m sure some of these ladies will ‘fight for love’ and already I find that depressingly sad for them.

So let the games begin…
